Q: What features will Kiros be adding?


A: Kiros plans to be adding new PvP features, improved customization options, new animations and more! This list is ever-changing. You can suggest ideas for new features on our suggestions board!


Q: Will there be new player models available eventually?


A: Our development team does have new plans to eventually expand upon our in-game model selections and may implement new models in the future. However, like most things, this is ever-changing and will be discussed heavily.


Q: How do I become staff?


A: If you wish to apply to become a staff member, we have permanent moderator applications open here! Please keep in mind that you must be 16+ to apply as well as register an account to our game and forum. Applicants must also be able to utilize Discord for moderating purposes and commit a few hours a week to moderating or development.


Q: How do I access my skills/abilities? How do I obtain skills?


A: You can access skills (additional attacks) by pressing the "2" key on your keyboard. These skills can be obtained by successfully hunting creatures found throughout the game. These skills can range from healing abilities to abilities that aid in taking down creatures!


Q: Is there a story or lore for Kiros?


A: As of 2021, there is no lore or backstory for the world of Kiros. As the game advances and continues to gain a shape, we plan to expand these ideas into some "history" for the game.


Q: How will PvP work?


A: PvP is a planned addition for the game in upcoming patches. We plan to separate the world into different realms. "Harder" realms, or PvP realms will allow players to attack one another and fight for valuable items. The team also has plans to implement tournaments and more events revolving around PvP!


Q: Why did Aroessa change into Kiros?


A: "Aroessa" was the original IT server owned and run by Kiros's lead dev, Slain. Due to extensive customization changes and source edits, Aroessa would need to be completely relaunched in order to update. This, however, was not of the interest to the staff team, leading to the creation and development of Kiros. Kiros hosts many more customization features than Aroessa allowed and is continuing to expand upon these source changes to improve the in-game experience. You might see some hints towards Aroessa in-game, however!


Q: I lost my account details! Can I create a new account?


A: If you happen to lose your account details, you may not create a new account under any circumstances, as this violates Kiros's Code of Conduct. If you are unable to retrieve your account details on your own, we strongly suggest that you reach out to our support email to retrieve your login. Our support team can be reached at support@kiros-mmorpg.com!


Q: Are my quests linked to my account or my character?


A: Upon accepting an in-game quest, the quest will become linked to your account, not your character. This means you will be able to advance and complete quests you have assigned, regardless of the current character you are using.


Q: My antivirus says Kiros is a virus/malware?!? Am I downloading a virus?


A: This issue usually occurs as Kiros, its launcher and installer, are all created by "unknown publisher" or can be flagged as "PuPs" (Potentially Unwanted Programs). Rest assured, our team would never distribute harmful software or damaged your device in any way. If this issue is occurring for you, creating an exception for Kiros in your antivirus software should fix it! If not, please contact our Help Desk.


Q: I found an in-game bug, where should I report it?


A: If you've experience a bug while playing, we ask that you please submit a bug report on our Bug Board so that our developers may look into the issue further. Please do not submit Help Desk tickets regarding game bugs unless they are exploitable, as moderators cannot assist with bug related issues.
