April / May News Update 2021
Hello everyone! It's a new month and we're excited to get things back rolling again. Thank you for your patience as April was probably a busy month for us all. Now that things have calmed down, let's see what's going on around Kiros.
Board + Site Changes
Recently, staff members have received a new badge on their profiles! If you're ever unsure of what the pawprint next to their name means, you can simply hover over it to find out! The badges look like this;
In addition to the change to staff profiles, the entire website got a super awesome new re-skin! We hope this new theme compliments the overall color scheme and is easy on everyone's eyes. This re-skin has also introduced a new logo for the game! This new logo will be added into the next update as well as some GUI changes to follow. We're all super excited to continue working on graphical updates as well as new and exciting content for all of you to enjoy!

Global moderators have also received a color change to their names on-site. You can see this adjustment in the left-hand "Staff" sidebar.
We've also done some adjustments regarding how punishments will be handled here on-site. In the event a user has their account suspended or disabled, they will receive an email from our forum address disclosing the details in regards to their punishment as well as methods of contact if they have questions or concerns. We encourage you to please submit an email address to keep on-file when registering an account, as our admin team can notify you of actions taken against your account in the event we are unable to reach you in-game or from our forum address.
We'd like to remind everyone that our forum email address is (forum.kiros@outlook.com), and any official information regarding the game and/or forum will be submitted from this email address. If another email address attempts to reach out to you carrying our name, we ask that you please report it to our support team email (support@kirosmmorpg.zohodesk.com) so that an administrator can look into the issue and handle it appropriately.
Game Updates
Last month the game received a new patch! This new patch addressed a lot of problems, bugs, and completely re-worked the in-game GUI. Along with bug fixes and addressing issues, the team added a new map and some new content for players to explore and enjoy. If you have any issues with the game, we encourage you to submit a Help Desk Ticket or post on our help boards. If you encounter any in-game bugs, please submit a bug report on our bug board.
With this new patch, we encourage everyone to read the documentation provided, as the game is no longer installed/run like a traditional IT server. You can find more details about this change in the update topic found here.
If you'd like to know exactly what changed in-game, you can view the patch notes here or in the "Server Status" box on the left-hand side of the website.
Staff Changes + Side Notes
Last month, we said farewell to two of our long serving staff members. Both Merc and Arki served with our staff team in the times of "Aroessa" and have been extremely helpful in the development of Kiros. We wish them both the best and hope to see them around. ♥
With the departure of two of our staff members, we also welcomed a new familiar face in the IT community to the team. Last month, Vaynrat joined our team as a Mod in Training and was hard at work learning our policies and the ways of a Kiros moderator. This month, we welcome them as a fully fledged mod squad member! We look forward to working alongside you, Vayn!
As always, we appreciate everyone for being so patient and understanding during this time. We hope everyone is staying safe and things are going well.
