January News Update 2021
It has been quiet for the past few weeks, but, we want to let everyone know what we've been up too as of late!
Game Progress Updates
These past few weeks have been dedicated to working on new content and preparing for our next patch (hopefully soon!). With this content comes new maps, items, shards, markings, and of course, bug fixes. In our most recent progress journal update we touched on what we're focused on when it comes to content and customization. Our team wants to embrace our community's creative side and introduce a bunch of new markings, especially in the categories that are lacking in numbers. We've provided a small preview of one of our newest markings!
Along with new markings being added, you may notice some bugs being fixed from this image! Eye colors no longer show the default eye mask below them and the in-game mouth texture is now showing properly. We apologize for these small texture errors, but want to alert everyone that they've been fixed and are ready to go with our next patch! If you happen to find more bugs for us to address, please report them on our bug board or submit a Help Desk ticket regarding the issue!
Board + Site Changes
As our developers work tirelessly on new content for the game, we've also been hard at work updating the website and its functions! Some new things you may notice at first glance is all staff banners have been removed from their profiles. This change was made to create less clutter on our staff members profiles and to make way for a new feature we've been working on. Introducing, PM Buttons!

We completely understand how much of a hassle it is to navigate to someone else's profile just to send them a message.. especially when it comes to Moderators and not having the option to message them. However, we hope that this change helps users when browsing posts or needing to contact a Moderator immediately.
Moderators buttons will redirect users directly to the Help Desk.
As users are not able to private message mods and are discouraged from attempting to circumvent this block, all staff member buttons will redirect users to the Help Desk for assistance. Staff members will also have the distinguished green pawprints, while normal users will have a red pawprint button.
Along with the new private messaging buttons, we've also implemented a new online / offline indicator to user profiles! We hope this makes it easier to identify if a user is online or offline, as well as keeping forum profiles clean.
In the past month, our team has also made a variety of changes to the on-site Help Desk. Firstly, we've added a new board popup to provide users with the information they need before submitting a ticket to the Help Desk. This popup will appear each time the board is visited, but contains helpful information for ticket formatting and what belongs in the Help Desk vs Help Boards. The popup looks like this;

Please try to follow the ticket titling to the best of your ability when submitting Help Desk tickets!
Along with the new board popup, our team has cleaned up the interface while utilizing the Help Desk. This new interface uses buttons instead of boards found on the forum. We hope this makes navigating the Help Desk a little easier and not as cluttered as before. Staff members also got some new tools within the Help Desk this month.

Lastly, we've added a new drop down navigation system to the forum and embedded various helpful links into it. Happy navigating!
