When should I submit a ticket vs posting on the help board? With the new ticketing system on-site, our staff are now able to accept tickets from our player base for a variety of issues. These issues may be common game problems or other reasons, but, we'd like to define what should be submitted to a ticket versus posting on the help board.
Issues With Another Player Issues with another player should ALWAYS be directed to a moderator ticket and should never be posted publicly anywhere on-site. As users are unable to private message moderators, they should instead direct reports to the Modbox, where they can discuss the matter privately with a moderator.
Bans or Other In-Game Punishments Bans and other moderators actions should again be directed to the Modbox as the issue is between the player and a moderator. These matters are not permitted to be discussed publicly anywhere on-site minus the ticket box.
In-Game Account Issues Normal users cannot help players with their accounts, as they do not have access to that information. Issues with usernames, missing passwords and general account problems should be directed to the ticket box unless they are general enough for a player to answer.
Missing Item Issues / Item Crashes Because normal players cannot assist with an item a player has equipped that is crashing or causing issues, these cases are much rather suited in the ticket box.
If you're ever unsure if an issue should go to a ticket instead, it's always safer to open a ticket rather than have your thread locked and redirected.
